The company has created a bio-based thermoplastic material made entirely from organic and unrecyclable household waste that can be used as a substitute for plastic, concrete and wood. The production of UBQ Material uses unsorted, residual municipal solid waste as its primary feedstock, diverting it from polluting landfills and saving significant green-house gas emissions, mainly methane – one of the strongest gases in nature.
