Sustainable bio-based thermoplastic material made from waste reducing greenhouse gas emissions

UUBQ is a climate-tech developer of advanced materials made from waste (B Corp certified). The company has created a bio-based thermoplastic material made entirely from organic and unrecyclable household waste that can be used as a substitute for plastic, concrete and wood. The production of UBQ Material uses unsorted, residual municipal solid waste as its primary feedstock, diverting it from polluting landfills and saving significant green-house gas emissions, mainly methane – one of the strongest gases in nature. UBQ Material is used as a raw material in the production of an infinite array of everyday products as a sustainable replacement to oil-based plastics, allowing manufactures to create carbon neutral and carbon negative products.
