Biobest is a pioneer in bumblebee pollination and a global leader in sustainable crop management solutions, in particular in biocontrol. Biobest is positioned as an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) leader, with a range of solutions spanning biological solutions (pollination, biocontrol, bio fertilizers), crop monitoring and conventional products as last-resort solutions. Biobest’s products are mainly used in covered crops (greenhouses) for fruits and vegetables (c.80% of sales) as these crops carry the highest input value, but also cover ornamentals (c.10%) and aromatic & medicinal plants (c.10%). They are manufactured in Biobest’s own facilities (i.e. 18 sites across all continents), enabling the company to be close to its customers and ease logistics (e.g. cold chain requirements for macrobials/insects which are living organisms).
